چکیده

Epileptic syndromes are well-defined conditions comprising particular clinical features [seizure types, age of onset, response to treatment] and characteristic electroencephalographic changes, while their etiology subsequent prognosis may vary. The recognition these is fundamental for pediatric neurology practice, representing an essential learning topic in this field. Nevertheless, many epileptic still quite unfamiliar students, residents even neurologists, because low incidence minimal representation the literature. This narrative review discusses concept revisits seven lesser-known or uncommon order summarize core features, which can become important clues daily neurological namely epilepsy infancy with migrating focal seizures, myoclonic infancy, self-limited infantile epilepsy, encephalopathy nonprogressive disorders, Jeavons syndrome, absences.
